The Mavic 2 Pro comes with a 20 Megapixel Hasselblad L1D-20c gimbal camera. The camera has a 1 inch CMOS sensor with an adjustable f/2.8 to f/11 aperture, support for a 10-bit Dlog-M color profile, and a 4K 10-bit HDR video capture. The Mavic 2 Pro is designed with an aerodynamic body design with maximum speeds of up to 47.7 miles per hour, it has a 4-cell Li-Po battery with 30 minutes maximum flying time, and low-noise propellers that make filming effective and efficient.

Mavic 2 Pro has OcuSync 2.0 video transmission technology that allows the user to control the drone even when it is 5 miles away and it has 1080p resolution. It is designed with omnidirectional obstacle sensing that provides object avoidance with sensors that are working on all sides. DJI Mavic 2 Pro drones are created with improved image quality and it has greater compositional flexibility compared to the Mavic 2 Zoom.
